Large copper button about the size of a Susan B. Anthony, and three times as thick.(1 1/2" D by 3/8" thick) Horizontal slot cut through. The opposite side has a small hole above and between the "80" that only goes halfway through. On both sides above the slot on both sides is the number "80". Found in Reisterstown, MD on a circa 1900s farm. Funny part. It rang up as silver. It's obviously copper. No green color, so my guess is that it's either not that old, or was lost not too long ago. ~4 inches deep, about 2 inches above the clay layer. Could it be a weight of some sort?
