So after 31 silver dimes in old faithful

4 Rosies
12 Merc's
15 Barbers

I've been questioning where are all the seated's
hiding?

Especially because I mostly find barbs

Apparently My first alltime seated was hiding
7 inches down in an area I've been over at least
10 times..

But the juice was worth the squeeze!

Worn but sexy..here she is for your viewing pleasure

Congratulations of your first seated! I found my first seated dime many years ago, but last year was my best for seated coinage with a seated half dollar(my first), 2 seated quarters and a seated dime. A few weeks ago I found my first seated half dime and ended up finding a Barber dime and half reale the same day. Three centuries of silver out of the same area. You just never know.

Ty all again!

Insane roll call of seated's Doninbrewster

Ive said this before But its worth repeating

For me the best part is that I grew up
playing in this park. Ive stepped over this coin and all my finds from here
thousands of times.
never knowing id grow to find and care for them
or that my passion for history would yield physical
items that I would collect and donate some of them
becoming a part of the history of the park ive grown to love
to the point where I want some of my ashes spread here

There really is no telling when you're going to pop up a surprise find - a find that you can't imagine finding in the place you're hunting .
I still haven't found a Seated Liberty coin of any kind, or an Indian Head cent after nine years of detecting ! but I'm confident I'll find both
at some point !

awesome! the wear on that coin gives it character, helps it tell a story

Congrats! My first seated was found the same way! Multiple hunts over 20 in the same lot I dug over 50 coins no barbers multiple mercs and Rosies and a lot of Indian heads than pickings started getting slim and banged a whisper if a dime at 7-8"s . You need to get all shallower stuff and always go over any site which has produced anything we always miss something!
