Honestly I don't know a single thing about guns at all. So a friend of mine has these for sale I just want to post it and see if anyone thought they were any good or what they might know the value of them to be. There's no picture at this time but he described to me in a text what they were. I'll try to get pictures of them tomorrow.

The Mauser might be worth lookin' at! Tasco scope is bargain brand name. If the Mauser aint been cut up and modified a lot it will increase value....

I will try and help, but am no authority. I dabble in gun collecting, but have to resort to a price guide and recent sales when making an offer on a gun I want, so take everything I say with that grain of salt. The Savage and the Phoenix are not expensive guns. The Mauser, should it actually be from World War II and bear German or other proof marks would catch a collector's eye. I can tell you that a Tasco scope is a bottom shelf scope and not worth much. The fact it is on a possibly old Mauser, if it is old is a sacriledge to my mind. Makes me think it is probably more likely surplus. Take everything as a maybe, but the only collector gun or chance of being overly valuable is the Mauser. Now if you can get the three for 200 bucks, run to your friends house.

P.S. Hognutz posted while I was typing, but he seems to be in agreement.

The savage your looking at about 130- 250 from good to perfect. The phonex .22 about 50-150 good to great. The Mauser to much that could be changed to give a good price without seeing. The savage is a great little gun, very accurate and a good plonked or squirrel killer. The phonex is a rip off of Taurus arms. Those older tacos use to be name brand top shelf, I shoot a older one on my 322a hornet and its deadly optics. But yes there's better new optics out there. Pm me i might buy the savage.

Alright let me see if I can get some pictures of these things this weekend. Thank you very much for your help.

Hey Beachkid!! Be sure to check the barrel rifiling to be certain they have not been shot up!! If the grooves have been depleted you will never be able to get a pattern out of them!! GOOD HUNTING!! VERDE!!

When I purchase a used gun I am not too familiar with and am not sure about pricing, I go on gunbroker. It's one of the easiest ways to see what current values are. But don't go by asking prices, go by what the bids are or closed auctions sold for.

Good luck!

I have to agree the Mauser may have value, hard to tell without seeing the gun. The others are as other have said low end. The savage is a nice shooting rifle, good for plinking and squirrel hunting. Don't really know anything about Phoenix, other than those I talk to say walk away. Agree on the Tasco scope. If the gun is in good shape, there are a lot of good scopes out there.
Good luck!

Bu the way is it a real Mauser or a sporting rifle that's made to look like a Mauser?

One thing that I've found over the years is that some people have no idea of what they own, especially if it is a military rifle.

On day, a guy called me and told me he needed some cash, and wanted to sell his M1 Carbine. "The first $100 bill takes it" he said.

"This is one that was issued to guys in tanks" should have been my first clue.

I dropped everything, grabbed some cash, and sped out to his place, ready to snatch it up for myself. I've coveted a M1 for many years.

When I got there, it was not a M1 at all, but some sort of cheap military carbine that was excess surplus from Italy. What a major disappointment!!!
