Thebes is correct. Early archaic knife dating to around 7400 bc. It’s named after the town of Thebes, IL, which sits on the Mississippi River in SW IL. The original Thebes site was dug by Dragoo in the 50s or early 60s. They are fairly common from MO to OH and down into KY and TN. Very nice find!

Great Thebes, love the size, river stain and patina on it. Looks just like the Thebes in Missouri...
