🥇 BANNER King James Hammered Silver Sixpence

I ventured back to the area I found the King James Hammered penny and about 100 feet away I found a King James hammered silver sixpence. I could not believe my eyes! I continued on to find a US plate, civil war bullets, a pommel and much more. Check out the video here

Congrats Steve!! I've been strictly hunting colonial sites in Virginia for the past 6 years and have yet to find a British hammered and you've found two or more!! Never ceases to amaze me when I hear about colonial spots that give up handfuls of colonial silver. Hope I find such a spot someday and hope you have only scratched the surface on yours. Banner finds on a banner site

How well Do you check Your Holes ?

While you are digging the Sixpence your Probe is going crazy.

If you look at around the 6:27 mark, there appears to be a Hammered Silver something
Stuck to the Tip of your Probe






a closer look shows what looks like a Hole in It


I believe it got knocked off when you laid your probe down.
as the sound broke for a second then ceased hollerin"
what did you leave behind ? Jewelry ? Trade Silver ? Signs of a trading Post or Cache ?
