Been killing this site over the last couple days. My favorite find was by far this beautiful US Army button. The sandy soil here preserved it’s silver gilt perfectly. This one dates 1808-1830 and was probably lost by a 1st Seminole War veteran. I found tons of ceramics, a sweet knife blade, a beautiful bead, and even a sewing pin and needle. Everything dates likely pre-1840. Gotta love it!
