Well last week or so I posted a nice 4.9g 14k man's wedding ring I found, four days later a woman walks up to me on the beach, points to where I found it and says "my husband lost his wedding band, have you found anything?" long story short; they described it accurately so I met up with them later and returned it (they were a month shy of their 44th wedding aniversary and in tears when they got it back) they gave me a whopping $20 reward and went back to Pennsylvania. Apparently the exchange amused Karma or whoever determines these things and it came back today, a one hour hunt while my wife attended a beach yoga class yielded a 1/2 karat diamond, 14k gold ladies ring. Took it to my buddy who is a jeweler and he says it is worth about $200 for scrap gold but that the three center stones are hand cut pre-1890's and the outer two are modern brilliant cut, all 5 are SI and better, total value quoted was $1220. So this karma person takes my ring and gives my wife one (it fits great), the only possible conclusion is this; Karma is also a woman The first pic is the today's ring, the second has the wedding ring we returned. All of these items were found in dry sand on the public beach.
