Just Joined from Northern Calif

Hi guys.... My name is Alan and I am from Redding. I introduced my self in the intro thread but figured if you guys are like me you blow right past that on your way to prospecting or sluicing threads. Anyway just saying hi. I mostly prospect along Clear Creek, areas west of Redding and Trinity County. I am pretty much a sluice and pan guy but recently bought a Gold n Sand Gold Sucker that I also like very much.

Welcome Rdg! This is the best place to find Great people and knowledge. Let me know how the Gold-n-sand unit works. I am thinking about buying one myself. A lot of big boulders on the creek I go to.

I like the Gold n Sand. The only problem I have had is pulling the plunger all the way out. It takes a little getting used to but I really like it for the most part.

Reg, the guy who sells it (Red Wilcox) says to use short strokes for best results. Longer pulls are hard on your shoulder after a while anyway.
