I really enjoyed all your pictures of the old country! Im sure it was a blast.
Im heading to Milam county in July to bring my kids to see the Grandparents.
Can't wait to do some real MDing over there.

Glad you made it back safe and sound. Congrats on being able to make such a memorable trip. Love those Franc's but think our seated's and SLQ's look better. LOL

Varambon is like a commune ( a small incorporated village).... .... there is a verambon department of Ain in eastern France

It looks beautiful! I am soooo happy for you its a wonderful experience but, next time I want to go!
You gor some great finds and looks like a fun time hunting and eating and drinking and I bet the view was spectacular in person!

Ohhh Yea RTD you can hunt the beaches. Its just that NO ONE DOES, just imagine whats there, how bout we plan a trip 2 days on the plane 3 days with the water machines and a sand scoops. I was there on the monday after a 3 day weekend and NO ONE had or was hunting (felt just like jacque custo), I dug 4.20 in coins with only 5 coins in hand (euros), I couldent get in the water without scoop, so i just stayed on the beach.
There isent much beach there. we walked 4 miles to the second beach. Google earth it.
I figure with detecting and maybe scubaing 3-4 days would be a great trip.

picture of a trap door in the attic leading to a hole 5ft x 5ft x 12 ft only found a potato sack in it but No one knew it was there.
