IT'S JUST NOT FAIR!!!
I decided to hit an old park at lunch instead of the farm spot. As usual, it was swarming with kids. I chose to detect by the baseball field instead. Actually, just in front of the bleachers is where I hunted. I was digging up coins and pull-tabs mainly, THEN........"cha-ching, cha-ching, I found some bling." I didn't even have to dig. The ring was just under some powdery dirt. I thought I had scored a white gold solitaire. I packed it up and headed back to work. Once I got home and put it under my CSI microscope, I realized it was not the real deal (silver plating coming off). What kind of sicko would leave such a ring, and give a guy like me a heart attack?
There are some warped people out there. 
Just kidding of course. Although this one wasn't the real McCoy, it was still exciting to find.
