Hunted up in Merrill yesterday and we are talking freezing and windy. But it was worth the pain. Went to an older section that runs along a railroad track and the dam..found a bunch of coins, few wheats and the shoe horns (they were tied with wire and about 5 inches down...thought I hit gold! Haha) One says Chicago Mail Order Co and the other is Sears and Roebucks .
Then I did hit gold when I found the small bracelet...almost missed it because I was digging pulltabs for an hour when I thought this was another one...
The lion earring was pretty muddy but no gem...but I will be wearing it on my jean coat...because you know us gypsy's ...flashy and gawdy...Mariah found a bit of clad and the other earring at the fairgrounds and we did ok on older quarters and rosies there.Found the Cow magnet there too....kids didnt want to touch it after I told them where it probally had been.LOL The chain with the coins attached is modern...probally off a belt or something...but it looked good enough to have a heart attack over until we figured out it was junk!

Very Nice Young lady!!

Congratulations on those finds Gypsy. Great finds. I see what you mean WOW what a chain that one is. Now that's one you really want to see in some precious metal. Either way too bad it was junk, but it really looks very cool.
