It Never Ends - Rights Trampled - More Spying Under This Adminstration Is Revealed...

aside from sitting at your computer and discussing this, what exactly are you doing to prevent it happening again TH? Writing your "representative" isn't going to work because they don't care. They have been aware of everything and if it wasn't for a person named Snowden, nothing would have ever been said about it..

You guys crack me up

Maybe just some of us are preparing for the day (which may never come but some will be ready.
Make sure you stock up on tape to cover your knuckles from pounding on doors that won't open for you.

Well davest if you think contacting my congressional reps isn't going to work, then why did the gun control that the left and the Dem wanted so badly fail? Why was the UN gun bill not approved either? I am sure it had nothing to do with the millions of patriots contacting their reps.... I sent out at least 40 to 50 emails, and faxes on the gun control issue and the UN, I am sure the left would have preferred we just sat on our hands and said nothing but that didn't happen.

I just finished contacting my congressional reps on the illegal immigration issue expressing my opposition and I also contacted other conservative reps from other states expressing my views as well. I just sent out 6 messages for myself and 6 for my wife on this subject.

What is funny to me is some of you feel like we are the only ones, there are millions of us, not the ones here...

But if the threads here bother you feel free to avoid them...

And they get over ruled by supreme court for violating constitution..

That is my point, constitution is supreme law of the land, if federal judge violates the constitution, or a law passed violates constitution that law is invalid from moment it is enacted...

The Supreme Court does not hear all cases. In those cases, the rulings of the Federal Judges stands as the law.

You can't pick and choose what laws you think are constitutional or not.

"The general misconception is that any statute passed by legislators bearing the appearance of law constitutes the law of the land. The U.S. Constitution is the supreme law of the land, and any statute, to be valid, must be In agreement. It is impossible for both the Constitution and a law violating it to be valid; one must prevail. This is succinctly stated as follows:

The General rule is that an unconstitutional statute, though having the form and name of law is in reality no law, but is wholly void, and ineffective for any purpose; since unconstitutionality dates from the time of its enactment and not merely from the date of the decision so branding it. An unconstitutional law, in legal contemplation, is as inoperative as if it had never been passed. Such a statute leaves the question that it purports to settle just as it would be had the statute not been enacted.

Since an unconstitutional law is void, the general principles follow that it imposes no duties, confers no rights, creates no office, bestows no power or authority on anyone, affords no protection, and justifies no acts performed under it.....
A void act cannot be legally consistent with a valid one. An unconstitutional law cannot operate to supersede any existing valid law. Indeed, insofar as a statute runs counter to the fundamental law of the lend, it is superseded thereby.

No one Is bound to obey an unconstitutional law and no courts are bound to enforce it."

so...did anyone see ol dick cheny on the television this weekend...claimed he set up the nsa system know as prism?
couldn't say enough how it worked great for him an bush...

it is not a party thing..it is a government out of control thing...

I am soooooooooooooooo tired of hearing about the Bush admin starting all of this. Fine, they came up with the Patriot Act. They started listening to correspondence of "suspected" terrorists to help protect this country. At least this is what we were told. And if that is what they were doing, I'm totally fine with it. The Obama administration has taken this to a whole new level. Not just a little, they have taken it to the level of the Gestapo! They are listening to anyone they want and not to protect the country, they are doing it STRICTLY for political gain. Even the blind can see that, and only the sheeple will ignore it. Problem is, they have created a nation of sheeple.

And let me add......if Obama really has no idea all of this crap is going on in his administration he's a pretty sad excuse for a leader. It's not just our guns they want.

Also, if you want to get REALLY technical, try googling Public Law 95-511. This was passed in 1978 under the Carter administration. That was the original snowball!

Smells like money - it always does.

Unfortunately, the rest of the world is not as perfect a place as the US House of Representatives, but rest assured that if the other party were in charge, this would be a patriotic move.

So our aid to the Afghan regime went well, huh?
