yes, but even though nations rise and fall, currency loses value, copper, silver and gold have had value based on weight for thousands if not tens of thousands of years. Just because my city office wont accept an ounce of gold in payment, I CAN sell that ounce of gold for fiat paper and use that to pay the bills. When the paper become worthless, it is truly worthless.

Actually I was thinking that these coins will likely never come under a coil for many generations, due to their future radioactive half life.
