Hey.. I'v been keeping this rock under my garden water tap for a few years and someone said I should get it identified. It's twice as heavy as a normal rock it's size and is magnetic. Anyone have any idea what this could be? and if it has any value in the rock community? I live in South Wales, UK, where it comes from.

Thanks for checking it out.

It looks more like a typical weathered Earth rock, could be anything from a Granite to Gneiss cobble. If you had to know exactly what rock type...you probably would need to break it to get a look at the mineral composition.
