If anybody cann help with this one . I assume it is a pendant of some sort . And it does look old to me but not sure of the period? Found in Dalmatia Croatia. Maybe somebody here found something similar and know what it is. Thank you

Looks to me like a mediaeval strap end, used to prevent clothing and legging straps and thongs from fraying or curling, and to add weight such that they hung attractively. There are a myriad of different forms but, if you Google the term, you may find similar examples.

Maybe half of a cloak fastener. Although it is a bit small... For a child's cloak?

Cartouche is a style of work? Or you mean like a mold?
A cartouche is a necklace pendant, most notably done by the Egyptian jewelry makers for centuries. I have a few gold ones I had made for you wife and daughters while in Egypt in the 80's. Here's an example of a silver one. What you have has the right shape, that's the first thing I thought of. Or it could jut be a cool looking zipper pull.
