Indiana Gold scoop?

Cancel it ASAP ! They're junk! Tried to send it back after it bent and would cost over $100 to ship back. They offered to refund $50 if I just kept it, but never received anything. I straightend it and welded angle iron reinforcement on it and sold it for $40. (Shipping was $20 so really netted $20)

That's not the one I ordered. That one you have seems to bend ive heard. This one has the four welded steel stems to the handle insert like the stavr scoop.

They're only meant for shore line and sand. Not rock and heavy hard material. I can't see it bending just from sand scooping and light shore line digging. I have a solid stainless steel Dalyn water scoop that can stand up too anything.

I was in medium packed sand with no rocks at all. It looked like a comparable scoop to the Stavr online but the build quality was no where near what the inline picture looked like. Which model did you buy? The one I just saw on EBay does look more like a Stavr. I paid like $180 for the one that bent the 3rd time out.

It's the model that looks like the stavr scoop almost identical. With the 4 welded stems. I paid 180.00 for mine too. Price was 137.00 plus shipping here to Canada. Sorry your scoop bent. Hope this one is a more solid design.

I didn't see that model when I purchased mine. Maybe the style you ordered will work better. Good luck with yours.

I was "chasing" super deep targets at night when I had a Sand Shark in very soft sand when I first bent the scoop. The bad part was they were bottle caps and bits of iron.

I bought one. Once I received it I had concern that it may bend where the handle attached. I welded supports as dross the back of the scoop and to the handle attachment. So far so good!
