When I made this suggestion I guess that I should have added that caution should be used and there are certain times and certain places that this could be done with very little if not any fear of starting a wildfire. Also a hand full of burning leaves in a tin can will not leak sap on you.Yes, lots of junipers!!!
I think I’ll pass on burning them 8-/ ... there’s been a LOT of wildfires and it would be my luck and I have BAD allergies...so! You also forgot that they leak on you (sap)!!!
After reading the book, it talks about all the petroglyphs all over the country and there meaning. You would be amazed!
Hey VFLang, hope you found a treasure today and you are safe! I'm still working on meanings of the petroglyphs! Do you have any other cool pictures to show!

I am sorry I do not mean to derail your thread nor am I trying to start a fight. I hope very much that I have not offended you.
That's awesome! Great place to detect dry streams! Any other cool pictures! The great spot is where the fish rock is located! Could you see any marks on the juniper trees? Be safe and watch out for mother nature, curiosity killed the cat! LOL
No...of course you didn’t offend!!!
Fight...put em up...
Every where you are has potential! That point rock in front of the cave looks unusual. Have one similar from the book but it was pointing down instead of up! Check behind those boulders in the creek! What's the compass direction of the stream. The cave is awesome! Did you get your metal detector! I liked the place where the big fish is located the most so far!
It’s the strangest tree limb I’ve ever seen!
