It has been a while since I have been on the forum but after this week of high surf, I got out for a few days to hunt.
The first day was working the dry sand as the surf was too high. However, I did have a six car day, which is the most cars I have ever found in one hunt and a nice Mexican Silver Ring.

Then I went to a small beach that had about 2 feet of sand taken off of it. I probably found the most coins I have ever found in a 3 hour period and 2 small silver rings. My coin count is: 26 quarters, 21 nickles, 40 dimes and 86 pennies.

IMG_8908.JPG IMG_8909.JPG IMG_8915.JPG The biggest surprise was after I cleaned the pennies, I found one wheat and one Indian Head penny, which is pretty rare for this coast of Florida. I figure the surf must have really dug deep to find these. They were too corroded to get a date off of either one.

Today, I went back to the small beach for 2 hours and found 24 quarters, 14 dimes, 8 nickles, and 49 pennies and 2 small silver charms.

I think I am going to have to go back there again 8-) :laughing7:
