Sorry to say I am clueless about these arrowhead that I inherited this small collection about 10 years ago and they have been in a closet probably since the early 70's. Any direction as far as what these are and possible value would be greatly appreciated!

There is a small museum on the Columbia River in Oregon that has hundreds of points that look like these. Still I imagine that these could be repros after seeing the Thunderbird?! Obsidian doesn't seem to age much. I think there is a very good possibility some of these are authentic. Also welcome to the forum, so sorry about your mother. Please post more pics of any items you have.

I should have clarified a little more about the collection earlier. There has been speculation regarding the collection possibly being reproduction due to the "Thunderbird" or other pieces. I totally understand the assumption but knowing where they come from I am very hesitant to assume this. The collection as I mentioned came from an elderly lady that was very much into archaeology and she traveled the world in her younger days collecting various unique and odd things. If you take a look as some of my recent posts and what I have upcoming you will see what I mean.

Marge was very eccentric and very much a hoarder with no family at all as her only daughter died in an accident as a teen. It took months of full time work for my Mom to organize and clear out her home, outbuildings and even buried barrels. She had many of her collections put together but as my Mom, who doesn't know much about things like artifacts and arrowheads went through things she grouped things together so it is quite possible that she added things like the "Thunderbird" or other pieces to an existing arrowhead collection without knowing the difference.

Thank you all for the help on this items. I am very much into older cars and have a 1920's Speakeasy in my basement but things like marbles, artifacts, coin swords and arrowheads are way out of my realm of things I know about. :dontknow:

Very sorry to hear about your mother. I'd love to see pictures of the speakeasy if you ever have the time.

Thank you so much for all of the replies and I am so sorry for the VERY delayed response. The day after my last post I received an call that my mother was in an accident and had to fly out right away. Unfortunately she passed away a couple days later so there were a lot of things put on hold.

The lady that had this collection was very into archaeology and went on a lot of digs all over the world and along with this collection I have all sorts of artifacts and things that I now need to figure out.

Does anyone know of someone in the Colorado area they trust that could look at these?
I am very sorry for your loss!

You have a speakeasy in your basement? That is awesome, lol! I'm a little jealous!

Thank you! Only had two on my phone and way off topic but here you go... :occasion14:

We have to mix a little old with the new as some things like the hollow stem coupe glasses are a bit of a chore to keep clean and I don't want them broken but this is the vibe.

I did not have these in the images from the beginning because they were much larger an I was not sure if they were all arrowheads or what they were? :dontknow:

Let me know if you need more or different pictures.
