Definitly a Spanish 8 Reale, looks like 1792, hard to see. Ferdinand the 6th. Good shape. That is really a milled coin, not a cob, which are pounded by hand. That is made with a machine, similar to how they are made now. Oh, and your english is perfect. And dont clean it, at this point. It looks good, and has some corrosion, but cleaning it too much would hurt its value. Maybe just soak it in fresh water and let it dry.

The columns are topped with both imperial and royal crowns.
39mm and about 27 grams
5s looked like 9s.
