🔎 UNIDENTIFIED ID Help Please

Found this at a colonial homesite/plantation over the weekend. It resembles a civil war breast plate in size. Any ideas?

Incredible find...appears to be a Frasers Highlanders cartridge box plate 71st regiment...pic is upside down

Super ID on this one IH. Banner of a find, too bad there is no regiment number on the globe. You nailed it.
There is a regiment number in the globe. It is hard to make out in the OP's picture but it is there. I can clearly make out the 7 but my old eyes are having trouble with the second one. I see a 1, 2,7 and 8!:dontknow:

Pretty sure it is 71.

Just rotated the picture and the 71 is a little easier to see now.
