I Think it's a Grave Marker... Maybe??

Rescued from a garage sale. Can you help me find out where it belongs? I can find no info. on who this person was or what state they lived in, even with the info. listed on the marker. The company is not that old, it was founded in 1944. I will email them with this link to show the photos, maybe they can tell me something. I'd like to get it back to it's proper place.
Here's the pics-

I don't have any further info on George, but Ihave since found out that his father, Bert Carter, died on March 19,1979, in Boyd County, KY; although, I believe his actual residence was inGreenup County, KY. I believe he and his second wife, Velma Edith(Vanover) Dailey Carter, moved to Greenup County, KY, sometime in themid-1950's. Velma died in Greenup County, KY, on May 3, 1993.
I found a 2002 "post-em" note onlineat Rootsweb Family Trees (Ancestry.com) from one of Velma's daughters,Peggy Ann (Dailey) Frazier; however, the email address ([email protected])was no longer valid. I believe Bert and Velma had at least 2children of their own: Patricia J. Carter, b. December 23, 1943, andTherman M. Carter, b. July 5, 1945.
Since George appears to have been the only childof Bert and Stella, and since both George and Stella died within threeyears of each other, the only family that might still be living would behis half-siblings. I don't know if they would know anything about Georgeor whether they would have any interest in the marker for hisgrave. Just thought that I would pass along the info, just incase. Take care and good luck.

Thanks CW, you've gone above and beyond the call of duty on this for me. I emailed the company that made the marker, no response. I then called them and gave the person on the other end the information about the marker and this link. So, I don't know. The other email I sent (Creda Isaacs-president of the Letcher County Historical and Geneological Society) never responded, go figure. It seems sad that this marker doesn't have a proper place to be displayed. I won't get rid of it and maybe someday i'll visit that grave, or find and send it to someone, who lives close enough to bring it there.
I'd like to give a special thanks to Brian K. Caudill, for the efforts put for in this matter. Not many would go the extra step like he did. I'm gonna send him an email and thank him.
