Just got permission to hunt a new place that is virgin grounds and been empty for 15 years. Built around the early 1900's the lady told me. The farm is about 1 acre so I will be busy here for a while. Found some interesting relics and my first silver for 09. 2 silver quarters, 2 mercs a 1944 and a 1941, 3 Wheaties 1946, 1944 and a 1935. Found the pistol laying on top of a flower garden. Hub (Hubley) from the 1940's The license plate was also lying on top on the side of the house. The cylinder shaped object is a A. Shrader's and son's universal tire gauge with patenets of 1906 and 1908. Won't work on modern applications. Found a lid to a manicure case with coty on it. Coty was founded in 1905 and has changed names over the years. I read a brief history on it and it was popular up until the 60's. Found a cool token like thingy from the National supply co. No idea what it may have been used for. The little round object with a slit in it is brass. No idea what it is. Found a body by fisher (GM). I know these were put on older cars but no idea on it's age. One interesting aspect of the house is a huge slab of stone with a school engraved in it. I thought I took pictures of both sides but forgot to. Must have been moved there from another location. Hopefully I will pull some more silver from this place. Thanks for looking, Ron
