I was out metal detecting today and found this lock . Keystone 3 Lever. plane 007.JPG Than i see something ahead of me and go to investigate .

Any one have a clue what it is as i don't see a name on it just the prop says Graupner cam folding prop 33-18 & 13-7".
I had to quit and bring it home.
The ends of the wings pull out and a wire connection unplugs so i was able to get it in the trunk .

The wing span is 95 inches and the length is 44 inches. Someone is very unhappy .plane 004.JPGplane 010.JPGIf you know this plane and value let me know.

I'd love to see an honorable mention photo of you returning that plane to the pilot. Those aren't cheap! I'm sure they are sick about it! A little embarrassed too probably..lol!

Great Find!

Kace

Not cheap and a lot of work goes into building it. Each rib is hand glued to make the wing.

I have talked to 3 people and 2 different flying club members so the club members will be notified .
I was told that these planes were suppose to have serial numbers on them required by the Fcc .
No numbers on this one.

Returned -->:hello2:

I called the Rc club and someone contacted Bill.
Bill knew things about the plane that only i new so i returned it to him.plane return 002.JPGplane return 001.JPGView attachment thankyou 001.bmp He was very happy to get it back.

Nice find, if you can find the owner it would be an Honorable Mention in my book, them things at cheap!

Good job on the return, I'm glad it found it's way back home. I'm voting honorable mention

Nice of you to do the research to find the owner. Honorable mention.

This plane is no good to you unless you have a battery charger and a remote controller. If i found it I would contact all the hobby shops in your area and make a posting there and ask the shop workers, Someone should give you a handsome reward. Myh guess would be between 200 to 400 dollars. Also look all over the plane for a AMA number (American Modeler Association.
Good luck and keep us posted pleASE
