I got in a couple hours yesterday between rain drops. Hunted a field that produced a few Civil War finds in the past. Now it's getting a asphalt makeover! I found Livetoplay804's Whites probe and returned it to him. I found several CW bullets also.
Today I caught up with my hunting buddy who's been sick the last week or so. We did pretty well, he dug a 1905 Barber Quarter, CW bullets and other items. I dug several dropped 3 ring bullets and a nice Eagle button. And a 1892 Indianhead . I also something that looks like a candle holder? But I am not positve on that. My last target was a 1866 or 67 Shield nickle, it's the early variety with rays between the stars. All in all it was a good day. Tsgman

TSGMAN,
I feel good to find just one of the 3 ring bullets, you got coinage and all!

Can you save some for the rest of us.

Great finds, could you make a living out of this?

Smartin
Smartin, I read someplace that more coins are lost than are in circulation. I honestly am a relic-artifact hunter, when I find a coin it's because it's in a relic field. I will admit That I do enjoy digging silver and even old coins. As far as making a living I think it would be a little tough for me, not finding and selling, but turning loose of my finds! Tsgman

Now those are some really nice finds! Thats a beautiful display case too.

Tsgman,

Great finds as usual. Really like your display case.

HH :)
