✅ SOLVED I am absolutely baffled by this find. Please help

it's non ferrous but too heavy to be aluminium. I can't seem to find anything related to the text on it. I dug it out of a field near Canberra Australia. I'm assuming it's a stamp of some sort but have no further knowledge than that. I have attached several photos including a flipped copy and a 30x picture of some lettering and where I scored it with my shovel pulling it out of the ground. I'm fascinated in this find and hopefully someone out there can give me some insight into what this is.

I wonder how it tastes with Bourbon?
Considering how long it's been around, for all we know, it may BE (or have been) substantially Bourbon! 😲🤪
