Hunt with oxbowbarefoot

Oxbowbarefoot came out for the day and we hit a spot we tried a few weeks ago. On our way it started to rain heavy but nothing that would stop us. The first two site we hit didn't really have much but we hoped the rain would help us find something. I found a few buttons, a small buckle and a pewter rosette. We spent about a half a day in there with not much else so we decided to move on to the next spot. The next spot is one I've been to a few times but this was his first trip. I found my only spanish silver here so I was thinking with the both of us we would have a much better chance to find more. The Spanish silver didn't work out but I did find a nice shoe buckle frame which I'm going start cleaning sometime tonight. A few more buttons and one of the better looking strap guides I've found. Happy hunting.

Nice group of finds. I like that rosette and the strap guide. Was the bracket attached when you found it or did you lay it on for the picture. The reason I ask is because the bracket is on the back (non-decorated) side.

Ya I just put it together for the pic. They were both in the same hole so might have broke when retrieving.
