Hunt with Merf

I finally got to meet and hunt with the man behind the name, Merf today. My class got out at 3:15 and I was out at site by 3:30. Getting to the site, I talked to Merf for a bit and started to hunt. Just a few relics here and there, and then just before I was going to leave, I found this interesting item. I have no clue as to what it is (maybe some sort of jewelry?) It looks to be silver, but no markings anywhere stating it so. It's 3/4" long x 1/4" wide. Found it with my 5" coil for the E-Trac. Rang in as 12-33.

Merf, any clue?

It was great to finally put a face to a name, and I look forward to hunting with him again. Thanks again Merf!

That's a neat find Jon---Sure looks like silver. [no corrosion]
Hope someone can ID it. It was nice meeting you and glad we got to pull a couple of good targets out of all that iron.
