OK GAITHER ROUND THE CAMP FIRE TO HEAR THIS STORY , SIT DOWN AND GRAB A CUP A COFFEE FROM THE POT, THE STORY BEGIN WITH MY WORK SCHEDULE BEING I TRAVELED FOR INSTALLING NEW EMS SYSTEMS IN NEW WAL-MART STORES ALONG THE EAST COAST FROM FLORIDA TO MARYLAND ONE DAY I GOT A PHONE CALL SAYING WE NEED YOU IN SPARTANBURG SC FOR A NEW STORE INSTALL SO AFTER DRIVE 6 HOURS TO THE STORE SITE AND CHECK THE STORE OUT WHEN TO GET GOING ON THE SYSTEMS THEY WEREN'T READY FOR ME TO START SO I WENT AND GRAB A BITE TO EAT AT THE CORNER FAST FOOD PLACE AND NOTICE AN OLD HOUSE ACROSS THE STREET WHICH WAS ONCE THE OLD STAGE COACH BED AND BREAKFAST AND THERE WAS ONE OF THOSE HISTORICAL PLAQUES IN FRONT OF IT AND IT READ AS THIS HOME SITE WAS BUILT IN THE MID 1750'S AT THIS MAIN CROSS ROAD SECTION WHICH COME TO FIND OUT THAT IT WAS THE OLDEST ROAD SECTION CROSS ROAD IN SOUTH CAROLINA HEADING NORTH TO SOUTH AND EAST AND WEST SO I WENT UP TO THE DOOR AND KNOCK ON IT AND THE OWNER WAS HOME AND GAVE ME------------- ---- SOME MORE GREAT BACK GROUND ON IT AND TOLD ME OF THE GRAVE LOCATED IN THE BACK YARD, SOME SAID BORN 1720' DIED 1795 AND THEN SOME, BUT SORRY FOR THE DELAY THE OWNER DID NOT GIVE ME PERMISSION TO HUNT THE SITE BUT WHEN I WAS LEAVING THE HOUSE I NOTICED A HOUSE NEXT DOOR AND THE OWNER WAS HOME ALSO AND HE WAS 80 YRS'S OLD AND INVITED ME FOR A GLASS OF ICE TEA AND SIT AND SWING WITH HIM AS WE TALK ABOUT THE HOUSE NEXT DOOR SUCH A FINE MAN AND AS WE TALK HE INFORMED ME THAT THE BARN WHERE THEY KEPT THE HORSES WAS ON HIS LAND IN THE BACK YARD AND GUESS WHAT HE GAVE ME A 1 TIME HURT PERMISSION FOR NOW AND AS LONG I KEPT THIS LOCATION TO MYSELF AND TO BRING TWO DETECTORS WHEN I CAME BACK AND THAT WAS NO PROBLEM , BUT ONE HITCH IS I HAD TO DIG HIS HOLE AND MINE TOO I AGREED AND WHEN I CAME BACK TWO WEEKS LATER TO WORK I HUNTED IT WITH HIM AND FOUND OLD BUTTONS AND HORSE TACK AND ON THE WAY BACK TO THE HOUSE HE LET ME HUNT RIGHT CLOSE TO THE HOUSE AND THEN IT HAPPENED I DROPPED TO MY KNEES AND DUG AROUND AND THOUGHT IT WAS A PIECE OF FOIL WHEN I PICKED IT OUT OF THE DIRT , THEN RUBBED IT AND OOOOOOHHHHHHHHH MMMMYYYYYY MY FIRST SPANISH SILVER AND MADE IT TO THE 1700'S CLUB FINALLY AND THE BEST THING IS I MET SOME GREAT FOLKS AND AND HE HAS INVITED ME BACK WHEN HE CUTS DOWN SOME WOODS BEHIND HIS HOUSE TO DIG IN THAT AREA , SO THATS MY STORY SORRY NO GHOSTS TO TELL ABOUT IN THE STORY AND ITS ONE OF THOSE ONCE IN A LIFE TIME DIGGS ,' ' KEEP ON SAVING HISTORY AND FILL IN THE HOLES LEAVE IT LIKE YOU WHERE NEVER THERE' '!
