image-1508458204.jpg i dug this spoon up on a farm in Northeast Pennsylvania. It appears to be brass or maybe bronze, i tried researching it myself but could not find anything about it. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

The item in question is not a straight shaft however I found a very similar bent tool listed under Apothecary Tools. Lot of Apothecary Tools, - Cowan's Auctions They cal it a spoon/flat iron device, 8.5" long;

I think it could go either way. There are so many different moulding tool varieties and I would imagine they have them with both ends round. I have yet to see one made of brass. . Maybe a good ID Breezie but its debatable, I think.
