how old is everyone here?

hey guys i was just wondering hot old everyone is because i am just getting into TH and i have found that a lot of people are older. Which is cool because of the experience but i was wondering why there is not very many younger people like me. I am 20 years old. just thought it would be interesting!

I'm 48 here ,I bought a detector when I was 12,it was a Mustang and it cost about $50 at Best Products(anybody remember them),nothing fancy but I found a paint can in my yard that was buried about a foot under ground,dad wasn't to happy with the hole in the yard but he saw it as a learning tool.

This topic is so old that I'll bet some of the older guys no longer detect. I am 63 and can hunt all day, or all night if need be and still have lots of left over energy. It's what keeps me going. Now, if this damned snow that is blanketing the country will just melt.
