how old is everyone here?

hey guys i was just wondering hot old everyone is because i am just getting into TH and i have found that a lot of people are older. Which is cool because of the experience but i was wondering why there is not very many younger people like me. I am 20 years old. just thought it would be interesting!

I bought my first detector when I was 22. It was a Whites Coinmaster from Sears. Wanted to find riches, didn't happen. Gave it up for many years and now do it because it is an enjoyable hobby. Wish I had never stopped.

39, I started in 1978, and it has been alot of fun over the years! I wish there was a forum like this when I first started. I had nobody to help me figure it out and it was really frustrating at first. So you new folks out there, don't get frustated and give up, stick with it, and read the advice from the experienced ones, and it will all come together and you will find awesome stuff.

21 with 13 years experience...hehehe. "It's not the years that count, it's the mileage." that's what my grandad used to tell me. If that's the case I would be probably 83 or so. Been through alot...been detecting for about 2 years.

Just turned 50 here! Got my first detector at Radio Shack back in the early 80's. Been huntin' off-and-on ever since.

Well I'm 69.been THing off and on for 20 years..first machine was Radio Shack worked ok. picked up a old compass unit many years ago still works.( not real high tech but works) presently use a Bounty Hunter IV. again not to many whistles and bells but works. Had to work to take care of family so did not have time to do much else..RETIRED..now I have time!

47, have been coil swinging since 1973, that was a Rat Shack kit, which could find my parents car a 6 inches, but nothing else...(I had such big dreams when I got it)......Really got into it in the late 80's........Great hobby..........
