I am new to treasure hunting. I am trying to get some info on equip I might need. Any help would be appreciated. I live in NY state and I am a senior. Did some metal detecting but new to this stuff. I found this forum by a Google search. Geo315.

I was actually doing some fact finding research for a thesis I am writing and found it through a link about the 1715 Plate Fleet. Glad to be here!

Heading to Florida beach so did a search for the beach name and "metal detecting" on Google. Found the thread discussing St. Augusting city and their issues with archies, the thread is a year old... but very relevent to my inquiries!

New to here and looking forward to lots of communication!

This wonderful site has popped up too many times with answers while searching Google for various MD info, I couldn't possibly ignore it any longer.

Glad I joined.

A Google search for information about a detector. I am not sorry that I found this site. Waiting on a Garrett Ace 250! Had an ancient White machine-died!

I found the app first on my iPhone. Then I decided to get on my laptop. Haha.
