How did you hear about Treasurenet.com - Treasure Hunting Community

We are always interested in finding out how you found our site.

If you can please let us know if you found us on another forum, via Google or Bing or a friend perhaps? Or any other method.

This helps us determine what areas seem to be working for us (as far as letting people know about us) or what areas we made need to work on to help get the word out.

Thanks!
I found you guys surfing the net for information on the best detector I could buy based on positive reviews. As I've narrowed down a few of my choices, I've started to search information on the Garrett AT Pro Detector, and your site came up quite a bit.
After reading a bunch of threads I decided to join.
Lots of information to be had here, and I like the fact that this site is legit and a serious source for any information related to the hobbie.

I also found you guys first when searching for buried treasures in Colorado, then my search for a metal detector started up

Good old Google... :)

Searching the web also I'am a detector nut. It's going to be a long winter

I was searching for a nice place where my grandson and I could hang out together

I came across your site after searching the web for tips and reviews on my Garrett ATX. After reading the threads on this site it was clear to me that there were a lot of passionate and friendly hunters associated with this forum and I wanted to be a part of it.

Researching my first metal detector, your forum came up time and time again with decent information and what looks to be tactful and polite members... Love those kinds of forums!

I was on Bing searching new Detectors and areas in SE Pa. that have potential. Up pops this site and already I have picked up a lot from the other treads!

Was searching for a Metal Detecting Club in my area and came across your site. I love it! So I became a member.

Happy New Year Everyone! Looking forward to using this site for helpful hints and inspiring finds in 2015, not to mention posting our own from the treasure coast!

P.S. Google search brought us here!

A yahoo search brought me to TN!!

I saw it in 1995 when it was brand new site...
Was reading about Jerry Garcia from the Grateful Dead dying...
when done I decided to search domain names...
Beings I was planning on registering some domain names with Network Solutions...The same registrar as Tnet...
I saw treasurenet.com had been registered the day before...
So I was curious... and kept an eye on the name etc...
began to watch the site evolve into what it is today...
I every so often... would re-visit and even more rarely lurk...
But for many of these past 20 years I was in biz... on the road or in the water... or just too busy to sit and enjoy / partake...
Now all the these later I finally have some "idle" time on my hands...
And due to the nagging of a buddy and my girlfriend...
I was convinced to actually join something online...
I am glad I did...
So many times I would sit and read various things that I just wanted to reply to and could not...
I have interacted with / met some cool people here with like mindsets.
I am going to "charter" soon as well. (soon as I get a stamp and envelope)
Love TN... and being now a part.

While researching which MD to get I used Google for MD forums as you can find like minded and serious advice.
Treasurenet had the best ring to it, and I am glad to be part of it. :notworthy:

I did a google search on metal detecting forums and found tnet. Really enjoyed reading all the different posts so thought I would give it a try.
