From what I heard mid to late summer.

they will have wheels on the big coil as the shaft won't support its weight....

We now know all the MAP prices for Equinox accessories...EXCEPT the 15". That leads me to believe that it will be the last accessory that Minelab will eventually ship.

The Koss waterproof headphones are making their way to dealers now, and from what I gather, the 6" is next up for shipping out. I would think that we'll be lucky to see the 15 before the end of summer.

If coil size matters, which sometimes it does and sometimes it don't, I'd stick with the factory supplied coil at the beach. You may lose small stuff with a bigger coil.

Not going to lose anything that matters, I have been hunting beaches with 15" coils for years and find small gold, smallest gold ring I found was with a 15" coil, it was .04 of a gram baby's gold ring, that is less than half a gram and it was down over 10 inches.

You are correct Treasure Hunter, gold under half a gram isn't worth the time to dig it. Better off with a pound of fishing sinkers. It's amazing how little small gold is worth if you go to sell it, however its still fun to find. One of my broken gold rings, a bigger one, I had asked to have repaired. They couldn't and offered me $10 for it.

Same here......both 15" Coiltek WOT and 15" NEL Attack coils. Both of mine will find a small Jean rivet at 8". Not worried about anything smaller (and frankly can't be bothered with them) I like, and am used to the coverage of a big coil. Extra depth would just be a bonus.
