Four days in on the JJ shot and still no noticeable side effects .. I wonder if those who feel ill from the shot would have gotten very ill from the virus.
as you know some folks never even know they caught covid and others suffer greatly, maybe it's the same with the shot?

It is possible. My sister got her 2nd Moderna shot and felt awful. Arm swelled up and had a fever and head ache. Lasted 2 days but better this morning. My 2nd shot is coming up.Yikes.

My 2nd Moderna after effects only started 24 hours after shot and only lasted about 16 hours, low grade fever, occasional chills, small headache off and on, most colds I have I felt a lot worse.

I did get the J&J shot. No effects whatsoever but it didn't fix my arthritis.

Sooooo. Vaccination cards to travel. What’s everyone’s thoughts on that? I’ve not had the shot but my wife has. The second on wreaked her shoulder for more than a month. She was concerned it may reqire surgery. Thank the lord it finally worked out it’s some PT.

I think the cop is full of it. There's nothing in the vaccine that would kill you in 24 hours. You might have an allergic reaction within 30 minutes (which is easily treated), but you won't go home and end up dying in your sleep.

I had an appointment to get a Phizer on Monday which was the only one available through the local health dept. But I talked to a tile sub on Friday who was able to get the J&J on Thursday after 6 pm at a facility where mobile nurse teams take good, unused vaccines from that day. People can go there, sign up, wait a short while (15-30 minutes) and get their vaccines administered if any are brought in. It was really interesting seeing all the high-tech freezers for keeping the Moderna and Phizer vaccines cold. Very efficient operation to keep vaccines from being wasted.

I gave this scenario a try on Friday since I'm terrible about missing Dr.'s appointments and didn't want to try to make a "booster" appointment in three weeks. When I got to the facility (about 6:15) there were already a dozen or so waiting who had already signed up. The nurse asked which shot I preferred and told me they currently had no J&J vaccines to administer but if I wanted to wait, some might come in. It was interesting seeing the teams come in carrying the large insulated "briefcases" and totes and I asked each one which they were coming in with. Finally, after about 30 minutes (& 3 teams), I knew I would get the J&J. Got it, waited 15 minutes for the all-clear, and left with minor discomfort in my arm. Less pain than receiving a penicillin shot for step.

Yesterday was mostly minor flu-like symptoms (minor intestinal discomfort, light headache, tired joints) which didn't keep me from detecting the beach or exploring some new terrain for detecting. I was tired last night though and crashed early about 8.

No issues today and I plan on detecting the beach.

In reality I believe any mass vaccination of anything will always result in a certain amount of early deaths. My wife gets her 2nd one soon, her decision. I will never take one. I'm not an anti vaccer except for this Plannedemic one.

As for you fellas who are so incredibly certain this vaccination would present issues in 30 mins or not at all I like to ask. At what point did you become highly educated on this shot and all its side effects? Why did the contact my wife every few days to check on her if it’s side effects would be so profound and so immediate. With a mass roll out of a nearly un tested style of vaccination, hell doctors recommending the shot can’t tell you much about the way it works. Thankfully the drug companies are immune to litigations should things go poorly.

Take the shot if you want. That’s is your choice and I support you in that. That makes no difference to me. I wish you all the very best. Truly. I do find it interesting that people get so angry or when the simple facts are laid out for objective observation.

True, but by posting it in a Covid Vaccine thread, and claiming they had a Covid vaccine in the preceding 24hrs, you wanted to infer it was.

Cincinnati. I was inferring it was. Genuinely. However all factors should be considered. We are living in a world where you will only see the side the general media wants you to see. The truth may be hard or scary but it is still the truth.

As I mentioned my wife has had the vaccine. She is fine. I’m not here to scare or intimidate anyone. You said yourself this is a vaccine thread right? These are all about the vaccine. It just isn’t the side of things most people feel comfortable considering.

Every issue has more than one side. People shouldn’t view the world through rose colored glasses. That’s how we all get lead into disaster painted with good intentions.

Pre modern medicine and vaccines, your average life span was around 30 years old. Yes, people will die from the vaccine, that is a truth. Yesterday, 3 people died of Peanut allergies too. Each year, 450 people on average die from Tylenol and over a 1000 from Ibuprofen. Every medicine and medical procedure known to man kind has adverse side effects that can and do kill.

Medicine, and it's small risks, are the main reason why our average life span is over twice what it used to be only a few hundred years ago and the biggest reason you are able to post in this thread to begin with.
