There was a treasure on oak island, it was salvaged long ago by people who knew how to keep quiet. The people who made the noise were the ones who found the empty hole and the noise of the ones who missed out has been going on ever since. It's like finding holes in the park left by other metal detectorists, you don't stare into them and keep digging into them just because someone else found something there once.

There are more than a few on here with a psychotic hatred and obsession. They should really seek some help from a licensed medical professional. If they only took that negative energy and funneled it into something positive.

I don't hate the show, honestly I'm envious these guys figured out a way to make money off the OIMP. Personally I don't watch it because I find reality shows in general to be dumb and annoying, but other people like 'em and that's just dandy. And discussing the OIMP and the show is what this forum is meant for, regardless of what you think of either.

Yes, small, not at the depths they claim.

1) Yes, but not 100 feet down in some "money pit". Just silly to think anyone in the 1800's would dig a hole 100 feet down by hand with traps to protect their treasure. If you were burying treasure, you'd want to bury it as fast as possible and not make a big production out of it.

2) NO. Long gone, if it was ever there.

I am going to voice my opinion. Do I believe there is or was Treasure on Oak Island, Yes. But from watching every episode on the show as well as things read in books as well as the Bible, I believe the Treasure was most likely Religious artifacts, that were never meant to be found by anyone.

If the Masons and Templors were involved they would have believed some of the Bibles most Holy items would grant power to someone who possessed them. I believe they would have hidden them is such a manner as to prevent anyone from ever recovering them. Saying this, I really find it hard to believe that Tunnels this deep and intricate were dug by hand tools by anyone who did not possess unlimited money and or Man Power.

1) There may have been a treasure - actually I doubt it. I think they were mining.
2) There's certainly no treasure there now. It would have been removed long ago. All of the tests they've done have not shown any treasure, only voids.
