Fellow metal detectorist and High Plains Prospectors founder, ScrapIron, found this old stirrup on an old homesite in Olathe, KS. This property was occupied from the mid 1800's to the early 1900's. We acquired the property before we got into metal detecting for a business. We spent years detecting it and found many good finds on it. A few silver coins, tokens, etc. This was one of our favorites! It has been cleaned pretty well but still has a quite thick patina on it.

I am not really sure exactly how old it is so if anyone has any information we would appreciate it!
