Wow Charles, that was a double whammy. Congrats. Can you tell me a little about how you found them and where? Thanks!!!

I found both on a beach in south Jersey. The gold coin earing was a freak luck find, I was zig zagging along the beach finding a lot of nothing at all (I had gone about a block with not a single hit) then WHAMMO out pops the coin out of knowhere. The ring was more of a classic beach find, I followed a trail of penny's and dimes to the quarters and nickels then bang out pops the diamond ring.

Charles, you are GUILTY of one of my biggest pet peeves on this board; posting a fab find but giving no details on how, where, and when. Inquiring minds want to know!!!

The when was yesterday afternoon. The how is just plain luck. The where is somewhere along the 100 miles of south Jersey shore. Any more details than that and I'll have lots of company at my spot Saturday.

Earing?...NO WAY...That thing would pull someones ear off!!LOL I'm sure you got lost in all the excitement
but a gold coin that big was most likely a necklace charm. I could be wrong though....how big is it?
I'm just guessing since its a $25 coin. I guess it depends on how old it is for value/size ratio.
