Homestead built on an Early Archaic Site, Artifacts , Coins and Eagle button

I've been hitting this site for a few years now and today wasn't any different than my past hunts, ended up with a nice 1874 indian, 1875 shield nickel and a really nice eagle button. Also ended up finding 7 broken and 1 whole worked pieces of flint and 1 marble. Not to many places you can MD and arrowhead hunt at the same time!!!

Really good finds! That's what I like about this hobby, you can detect and hunt points at the same time. Some of my best points were found detecting.

I think sometimes that kids a hundred years ago would find artifacts and bring them home , alot of times I'll find 1 single item and not another piece of flint anywhere! Here's a hematite plummet I found a few years ago on a homesite.
