I Know I should spend time at my Nephews going through all
my nickel finds. & find
& add a Copy of Cronin's
book to My Library

if they weren't silver I paid Little attention Except I kept and slabbed 99%
dated before '59 never thought about Henning

I started collecting coins “helping” my parents when I was five, around 1958. My mom hated the war nickels because she said they were “dirty looking”. I got them all. I then started asking relatives for war nickels. They still circulated into the 60s. I ended up with quite a few. It wasn’t too long ago I heard about the Hennings. I was hopeful but I don’t have any.😫 Here’s one page of some non-Hennings. All collected from circulation.
