Found in the woods covered with leaves & such .Anyone know what it is ? Also I see a green coloring to it (brass/copper) dunno.I was thinking its a spittoon but cant find a design that looks like it.The bottom looks like it was formed into shape with a ball pein hammer. Hey Dog .Where did you find it ? All I'm seeing on line are big ones (5-10 gal.size).The one I have holds 2 qts. thanks

It'd be soldered or brazed copper. The solder used may or may not have contained lead.

Very nice collectible find. Small dispenser for? Probably better to display than to use it for consumables.

I found it in an image search for vintage copper milk bucket.
I didn't know what size it was, so I just looked for a match.
With it's small size Old Digger is probably right.
Or it is a more modern repro for decoration, but it does have a vintage construction look.
Great discovery and recovery.
I like it...
