HELP. Snake around a mushroom button

the coolest thing I have found to date, it is a mushroom with a snake around it

The snake looks chopped at the end, its pretty cool looking thing any info please

I'd buy that mushroom button for $500.

I believe it's a Revolutionary War button imported from France. Awesome find!! :icon_thumleft: View attachment 805332

Yes I believe you hit it Erving ! But you forgot that the button was attached to a coat and inside that coat was a genuine French troop . They were of great assistance in our Revolutionary War ... Viva La France ! HH , Woodstock

Well don't sell it for 500.00 it's worth 700.00 + that's what I sold mine for. One of my first post's was the exact same button. Nice find

How do you know it's not worth $900?
IP, it could be worth more whatever someone want's to spend? The button is a Liberty cap and Rattlesnake button it's seldom seen and quite collectible, it should have a retail value of 700.00/ 750.00 or more, according to leading button specialist Bob Edmonson HH
