Hello everyone! First of I want to say I am a newbie and a green one at that. I have decided to get into this crazy sport of relic hunting and see what I can find. I live in an area soaked rich in Civil War history and hope I can find something worth while. I just purchased the BH Lonestar and have determined that either I am a complete guy (meaning can follow directions even while reading them) or the damn thing is busted. Set it on the table and set the knobs the way they say. Wave the soins unders the coil and got nothing. I mean absolutely nothing. I hope to get an answer to this problem but if not it is back to the store to get a new one or a different one to boot. But, again hello and happy hunting.

Welcome to the sport and forum. One question, what do mean by "got nothing"? The machine is on, you have earphones plugged in and you are wearing them. You have the volume up and still hear nothing? Then yes, take it back to the store and let them help you. Good luck!
