It's a 1911 quarter Eagle, an 1804 plain 4 stemless half cent, and two more of those buttons - but these buttons have patterns. The first one I found didn't have a pattern. Also found 2 buckles, some clad, and a 1940s wheat cent.

By any chance is that 1911 quarter eagle a D mint mark? A 1911 D is an OMG coin. I know, I had one, and sold it for enough I almost had a heart attack.

Sadly, it is not.

Congrats on the Gold! Lots of gold coins found the last few weeks on T-net! I vote Banner!!!

Wonderful artifacts recovered, cti4sw! Gold, old, and some kings. Wishing you much success on return trips.

Congrats on the gold coin. What did it read on the atpro?

Not what I expected, actually. When I tested my and a friend's wedding bands a few months ago, they came in a solid 53. This was a consistent, persistent 59-60. I had just decided to dig every repeatable signal after my last hunt gave up the KGIII, and I'm glad I did!

Thanks for the banner votes!

excelent work, well done Kind Sir. Enjoyed the Photos. Jon in Nashville

Way to go! These are great finds, especially the 2 1/2 Indian.

Banner for the gold for sure....sweet finds!!

That's one heck of a hunt! Congrats on the great finds. Looks like that gold coin will be on the banner soon (knocking my CT Copper off the right edge :laughing7:)! Gonna be tough to find a site better than that one!

Those are BANNER finds all day long - DB coins in that condition are nearly a banner find by themselves - throw in the quarter eagle ,
and this is a no brainer ! Outstanding saves !!!

I know. ...I feel like karma is gonna come around and be like, okay pal, you had your good luck, it'll be 50 years till the next one! :/

It's like the yard where I found that CT Copper--it gave up a lot of nice finds and it's frustrating now to get out and not find good stuff on each hunt :laughing7:. I'm sure you'll find other great spots to hunt as well (plus this one seems like it's still producing).

seeing how excited I get when I pull a wheatie out of the ground, I think I really would have had a heart attack! Amazing finds hard to beleive that there is still gold coins popping up like this. So did you dig the 2.50 coin first? I could see it now ahh just another draped half cent this areas is to trashy lol.

NICE! :)

Seriously is one honey of a hole.
(okay.. that didn't sound quite right.. but I sticking with it)
*pun intended*
