All Treasure Hunting
Very hot day, but it followed some rain so the ground was good. We started for 1 hour on the Saxon Gaming Piece Field, but the weeds were out of control & we only had a couple of buttons.
We then spent 2.5 hours on a field that has had a recent hay cut. It used to be good ploughed land, but we have taken off most of the good stuff already.

We would have had an early harvest with the Barley but unusually some of the Oilseed Rape beat it & they are getting that in instead. No good for us because of the stalks.:sadsmiley:

Good stuff.. Nice bunch of flat buttons.. I love that Navy.
Heck..wish we had that much history to find where I am.. Some days I'm happy with one of those lead seals and that's it.
