I saw the buttons in the other thread. Cannonballguy has it correct. These are from the same time frame, civilian buttons and there are a zillion backmarks on them, most from the UK and US.
Man Smokey you didnโ€™t see me asking people if you were all right I havenโ€™t ran across it in a while

No, since they changed the format of the website I haven't been able to find squat. I have just been looking at the "what's new" thread. Also ground is frozen hard here so I might be able to get out this weekend but won't be digging much his year from the looks of it. Two of my cats are on the way out and I'm not running off too much this year. You can also send me a message. I get those still.

Yes, I wasn't on T-Net last night and or I didn't see the post. I can't find squat on the new format. It is here, assembled (easy) charged (super easy), read the manual (super easy to use). Going out at sunrise (Saturday) to a property some ways from here my ancestors actually owned 350 years ago in Virginia. I do NOT expect to last very long, as I have not been out all winter, but if I find ANYTHING it will be a good day. Mine has the 11" loop and both land headphones and full underwater setup in the package, so nothing to buy for it. No aftermarket anything.

Was only out about 3 hours. Surprised myself as I can still walk! Civil War Virginia coat button, flattened but readable with that nice Canfield Baltimore backmark, here we're hunting colonial and out pops a CW Virginia Button. Several tiny buttons very deep, couple musket balls, a few pieces of buck and ball shot, medium size tombac button, broken colonial spur, and an intact 18th century bridle boss, that's my first one ever, two broken colonial buckles. There was no house in the field. Rats. So, we just rescued miscellaneous items scattered all over the place. If there would have been a house there...

The Deus II is built like a tank. Does very well and there were some iron accumulation spots we had to go through. Machine never lied once!
