Today I hunted two different areas. One was along a street next to a park where bushes and vines and brush had recently been removed. Spent about 2 hours there hunting up and down the side of the street. There was no sidewalk, just grass and dirt and roots from the bushes. Found a few clad pieces, buttons and toy cars. Then I moved to a small, open, park/picnic area that I had found a couple late date silver pieces at a couple weeks ago. This little area seems to be used now mostly for dog walking and you must watch your step, or else. I was hoping for maybe one more silver piece out of there, but I got real lucky and found two big ones.
The first one was this Washington Quarter:

Then when I was almost ready to leave, I took a big leap into the past and unearthed this beautiful 1876 Seated Liberty half. Believe it or not, it was only about 3 inches deep.
