I could be completely wrong however and defer to our more experienced members opinions. As for any Jesuit connections, I would be doubtful as we do have fairly good records of the explorations of the Jesuit padres in the southwest, as far as I could determine none ever explored into the Superstitions. Perhaps our fellow member Lamar could venture an opinion?
