I only got to get out for a few hours and wanted to stay close to home since we are spending the evening with family for father's day. Went across the street to the 1801 "Knights of Pythias Hall" (try and say that three times fast) that I had detected a number of times before. It is quite hot and humid out so I was staying in the shade along the old maple tree line. I only found one coin, but what a beauty. An 1807 over 6 bust large cent in really nice condition. A really nice father's day present, second only to the beautiful letter my daughter wrote to me. Hope all you fathers out there are having a great one too. Thanks for looking....Lance

Congrats Lance, That's a really nice find.

I hear ya on the heat.

Nothing worse than sweating bug off in your eye's and hard grounds.

But hey it's hard to stay in.

That's one great coin! Too bad it's not the small 7 variety... but it's still a great coin! Beats the wheaties I've been getting lately.

Wowzers, nice coin in great condition.

If you stare at the top photo long enough, it starts to look like a cake. I really want to eat that coin.
